Aramid UD fabric is a composite material made by impregnating aramid fibers in a resin matrix and then processing them into a composite fabric. It is fabricated in a 0°/90° orthogonal manner into a two-layer structure, or it can also be made into a four-layer or six-layer thick fabric. Compared with traditional structural bulletproof materials, the bulletproof aramid plain weave fabric has significant improvements in forming, processing, and bullet resistance performance, and is a very high-quality bulletproof material. Compared with UHMWPE UD fabric, it has stronger resistance to high and low temperatures.

The long fibers in the non-woven fabric are arranged straight and parallel within the matrix material, and there is almost no loss of fiber strength during the processing. This design can fully utilize the high strength, high modulus, low density, aging resistance, and wear resistance of the fibers, significantly improving the energy transmission efficiency and impact resistance.

When subjected to impact, the parallel fibers in the fabric will disperse the energy of the projectile (such as 9mm or.44 Magnum) outward to a larger area, with a speed much faster than that of traditional woven textiles.

Made with high-strength modified resin, it is formed by multi-layer stacking and high-temperature high-pressure curing. The board has high hardness, good impact resistance and penetration resistance, and excellent structural stability. It is mostly used for hard ballistic armor, helmet shells, protective inserts, etc., as fixed protective components.

3. Flame-retardant and temperature-resistant special UD fabric:

Adapted to special working conditions, it is made by combining flame-retardant modified resin with flame-retardant Aramid fibers. It combines protection and flame-retardant and high-temperature resistance properties. It is mostly used in industrial explosion-proof and high-temperature special protection scenarios.
