Product Introduction
UHMWPE UD Fabric is made from ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fibers combined with a specialized resin formulation. Commonly referred to as UD fabric or unidirectional pre-impregnated non-woven fabric, it has a density of approximately 0.97 g/cm³ and strength 10–15 times that of steel. This material can be laminated orthogonally at 0°/90° or layered in multiple plies to form 2UD, 4UD, or 6UD structures, resulting in either soft protective fabrics or rigid protective panels. Soft fabrics are typically used in bulletproof vests, while rigid materials are applied in helmets and ballistic plates. The roll length, width, and surface density can be customized according to customer requirements.
