Product Introduction
The Ballistic MICH Helmet is a comprehensive and highly functional helmet with strong protective capabilities. The
weight is between FAST helmet and PASGT helmet, and its protective function is also at an intermediate level. It provides sufficient protection for the sides of the head and can also accommodate the use of tactical headphones, making it suitable for the majority of military and police general needs. It features 7-point cushioning soft pads, impact and crush resistance protection, an NVG base, an ARC side rail, and can be directly equipped with night vision devices, flashlights, and cameras. However, this helmet also has its drawbacks. The overall helmet is relatively large in size and has a high weight, making it unsuitable for prolonged use.
FAST vs MICH
1. Shape and ear coverage:
The MICH series offers various ear cover options: TC-2000 (full ear cover), TC-2001 (no ear cover), and TC-2002 (partial ear cover). The FAST adopts a "high-cut" design without ear cover.
2. Rail system and accessory installation:
MICH is equipped with a front night vision installation bracket and side rails for installing night vision devices and infrared lights. The FAST uses the ACH-ARC modular rail system, supporting a wider range of tactical accessories, including tactical lights, cameras, and visor mounts, etc.
3. Adaptation and adjustment system:
MICH uses a seven-pad suspension system with a four-point chin strap that can be adjusted with Velcro. The FAST is equipped with a knob system that enables faster and more precise head circumference adjustment.
4. Bulletproof performance and weight:
Both helmets are made of or aramid fiber material and provide IIIA level ballistic protection. The weight of the FAST helmet is approximately 1.3-1.8 kilograms, while the MICH helmet weighs approximately 1.6-2.0 kilograms.
