Production process
1. Layering:
Layers are stacked in 2 to 12 layers at 0° or 90° angles to form fabrics of different thicknesses and weights.
2. Soft and hard ballistic materials:
The softer grade (usually 50-160 grams per square meter) is used for flexible vests and cutting-resistant equipment, while the denser hard panels adopt a rigid hot-pressed structure for impact surfaces.
3. Fiber arrangement:
Fibers are arranged parallel to each other in the same direction without overlapping or interweaving. This ensures that the fiber axial direction has the maximum tensile strength and enables the shock wave to dissipate quickly during impact.
