Product Introduction
The helmet Chin Strap Set is the core component that securely fixes the bulletproof helmet to the head. The complete set includes connecting webbing: nylon/aramid high-strength webbing, with the mainstream being four-point type (four webbing strips fixing the helmet at four points); the old style is two-point type; chin cup (Chin Cup): a foam soft pad, placed under the chin to disperse pressure and prevent discomfort from prolonged wearing; adjustment buckles: sliding adjustment buckles / quick-release buckles, allowing for easy adjustment of tightness; the quick-release buckle can be instantly unfastened with one click; fixing screws / bolts: locking the webbing base to the bulletproof helmet shell, and the entire set of accessories can be directly installed and used upon receipt.
Different helmet types require different components.
FAST / MICH2000-2002 / ACH:
mainstream 4-point installation holes, universal four-point chin strap set
Wendy EXFIL helmet:
has a dedicated Wendy suspension system, some ordinary 4-point sets are incompatible, prefer to choose Wendy-style chin strap set.
Old-style PASGT/M88 helmet:
two-point chin strap, different hole positions, cannot be mixed with four-point sets.
Installation steps for helmet Chin Strap Set

Locate fixation points |
Align the four branches of the chin strap webbing with the four preset fixation holes on the side wall of the bulletproof helmet, distinguishing the upper and lower points to avoid installation in the wrong position. |

Insert webbing for fixation |
Insert each branch of the webbing from the inside of the helmet outwards through the corresponding hole, bend it and then pull it back inside, tighten the webbing to leave room for subsequent adjustment. |

Fix the base / screws |
Align the matching fixing base with the outer side of the holes, screw in the dedicated fixing screws, ensure the screws are fully tightened without loosening, to avoid the webbing coming out during violent shaking. |

Assemble the main webbing of the chin strap |
Pass the ends of the main webbing on both sides through the reserved holes of the chin support, then pass them through the corresponding double D-ring or ratchet buckle, complete the basic fixation according to the D-ring system of the bulletproof helmet. |

Adjust the slack margin |
Pull the end of the webbing tight, adjust to a gap of 1-2 fingers that can be inserted between the chin and the webbing, ensuring that the helmet does not press on the carotid artery and does not shift due to head movement. |

Finish and tidy up |
Use the matching Velcro or fixing hooks to store and fix the excess webbing tail end, avoid the remaining webbing hanging and getting caught on debris, and finally reinstall the cushioning liner to its original position. |
