Product Introduction

The ballistic mandible shield is used to protect the external mandibular ballistic shield of the helmet, protecting the lower jaw, throat, and the lower half of the face. It is installed through the ARC side guide rail.

This ballistic mandible shield offers critical lower-face ballistic coverage for tactical ballistic helmets, protecting vulnerable jaw and throat zones not covered by standard helmet shell. Built-in UHMW-PE / aramid ballistic core achieves NIJ Level IIIA ballistic rating against common handgun threats and blast fragments. Clip-on structure mounts directly onto helmet ARC side rails without extra tools, allowing operators to fit or detach quickly according to mission scenarios. Ergonomic curved profile maintains proper cheek-weld performance and clear audio transmission, compatible with mainstream tactical communication headsets. Outer 600D oxford shell plus rubber shock-absorbing edge improves wear-and-tear resistance under harsh field conditions.

Two variants for selection: solid ballistic mandible shield for real bullet-proof requirement; wire-mesh shield for fragment & blunt-impact defense only, better ventilation and sound permeability.

Note: This mandible shield provides NIJ IIIA protection for handgun and fragmentation threats only, NOT for rifle-round resistance. Helmet and ARC side rails are not included. Counterweight kit is highly advised for balanced wearing experience.

√ Basic General Model: Made of aramid fiber material, with a weight of approximately 280g, and a protection level reaching NIJ IIIA grade.

√ Lightweight PE Model: Made of ultra-high molecular polyethylene material, with a weight as low as 200g, and a protection level also reaching NIJ IIIA grade.

√ Face Mask Linked Model: Achieves continuous full protection from the face to the jaw.

√ Special Function Model: Features a structure that can be folded upwards, allowing for drinking and eating without completely disassembling. The surface is additionally coated with a wear-resistant and scratch-resistant layer, suitable for high-intensity outdoor tactical usage scenarios.
