The ballistic PASGT helmet is usually divided into two main types of helmets made of Aramid (aramid fiber) and UHMWPE (ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene) materials. This type of helmet is a must-have for military police, security personnel, and peacekeeping forces. Let's take a look at the structure of our helmet. The bulletproof shell: multiple layers of Aramid or PE fibers are molded together by a high-temperature molding machine; then they are cut and shaped into arcs, followed by spraying in the spraying room, drying, and then installing the internal system: 7 pieces of EVA cushioning foam + four-point suspension webbing + quick-release chin strap + rear collar adjustment webbing. Finally, it undergoes quality inspection, packaging, and delivery to our customers.
The original design of the Ballistic PASGT helmet was: fully covering the ears, extended neck protection, and ear slots for fitting in-ear communication headphones. With technological improvements, it can now accommodate tactical rails, night vision device mounts, etc., and its flexibility in product application will be even greater.
However, the conventional Ballistic PASGT helmet can only protect against pistols and shrapnel, and cannot stop bullets fired by rifles such as AK and AR; if full rifle-level protection is required, a thicker and custom-made shell is necessary.
How to maintain a ballistic PASGT helmet
- Effective protection period of the shell: Normal period is 5 years; For duty use, it is recommended to replace every 3-5 years;
- The inner padding, fabric straps, and buckles are consumable parts. They should be replaced as needed within 1-2 years;
- Do not expose to high temperatures, direct sunlight, or heavy pressure.
- After being shot or severely impacted, it should be scrapped directly and cannot be reused;
- Clean with clean water and neutral cleaner. Do not use alcohol or strong corrosive solvents.
- Regular police and military patrols, maintaining stability and handling riots, UN peacekeeping forces;
- Overseas private security services, blast protection for construction sites;
- Military rehearsals, tactical confrontations;
- Border duty, splash protection in mining areas.
