3 Hole NVG Shroud

The 3 Hole NVG Shroud refers to the three-hole night vision device base. There are three installation holes on the front of the helmet, and it is fixed to the front of the helmet shell with three screws. It is not an adjustment arm; it is a base. The bracket needs to be installed on top of this Shroud.

The base of the 3-hole night vision device is a common universal accessory for installing night vision devices on tactical helmets. Its main function is to provide a stable installation interface for the night vision device bracket. Currently, the mainstream products on the market are mainly made of lightweight nylon/aluminum materials, and they are compatible with the vast majority of tactical helmets.

√ Stability: A triangular support structure is formed by three fixed points. Compared to single-point or double-point connections, this design can better distribute the force, ensuring that the night vision device maintains stable vision during high-intensity actions such as running and climbing.

√ Compatibility: The mainstream three-hole base is usually compatible with various helmet models (such as FAST/MICH) and single-lens/dual-lens night vision systems, and does not require any modification to the helmet by drilling holes.

Material and Craftsmanship: The high-quality base is mostly made of aerospace-grade aluminum which is precisely processed by CNC. The surface is treated with matte oxidation or micro-sanding, which not only reduces the weight but also has anti-slip and wear-resistant properties, preventing the exposed area from being exposed to night-time reflections.
