Product Introduction
The IR Strobe Beacon is a dedicated infrared identification accessory installed on tactical bulletproof helmets. It is only visible under night vision devices and is a core low-light tactical equipment for identifying teammates and indicating their positions in military and law enforcement, as well as outdoor operation scenarios. It is compatible with FAST / MICH / ACH bulletproof helmets. Some models can also be installed on tactical vests.
It relies on infrared LEDs to emit invisible infrared light, similar to the signal transmission logic of a TV remote control. It cannot be directly observed with the naked eye and can only be clearly identified when paired with a night vision device.
Some multi-antenna models can achieve 360° uniform signal coverage in all directions to avoid the failure of identification due to being blocked at a single angle.
Main functions
Recognition function: Quickly distinguish friendly teammates in low-light/night environments to avoid misjudgment and accidental injuries in tactical scenarios.
Position indication:
In complex terrains, thick smoke, etc., low visibility scenarios, quickly locate the position of teammates, facilitating team assembly and search and rescue.
Strong concealment:
No visible light leakage, not exposing one's position, balancing the identification requirements with tactical concealment.
Multi-mode Switching:
Supports constant illumination, flashing, and multi-color visible light assistance modes. Some models can switch to IR-exclusive identification gears.
Protection Performance:
Mainstream models achieve IP66 level waterproof and dustproof performance. They feature a PC lamp cover and an engineering plastic shell, suitable for complex outdoor environments.
Installation Convenience:
Comes with Velcro or helmet rail adaptation structures. Can be directly adhered or clamped onto the top of the helmet without the need for additional drilling or modification.
Battery Life:
Regular models can last for several hours. In flashing mode, it can provide stable signal output at a rate of 60 times per minute.
